St Faith’s Bible College (SFBC) and Preliminary Theological Certificate (PTC)

Thought about studying God’s word in greater depth? This group provides an exciting time of discovery as together we work through God’s revealed word (try John 6:63).

St Faith’s has set up a Bible College where each Moore Theological College’s PTC subject is studied together in a group with Jim Bannister assisting as teacher/facilitator.  We meet in the church building on Monday nights from 8.00 - 9.30 p.m or Wednesday daytime from 1.00 - 2.30pm.

All PTC subjects have an examination which is marked as part of the Moore College system.

However, the St Faith’s Bible College sets its own exams for each PTC subject. After studying the subject you have the choice of doing the PTC exam or the SFBC exam or not doing any exams.

After passing any 3 PTC subjects a SFBC Certificate of Christian Studies - Foundation level will be awarded.

In each subject a Certificate of Recognition will be presented to those who attend at least 8 out of 10 lectures. (If you do the PTC exams you have to pass 9 subjects to attain the Preliminary Theological Certificate.)

Moore College issues an excellent booklet with each subject enrolment. You will need this booklet to do the subject the SFBC way. The price is the same whether or not you do the PTC exam.

N.B. It is possible to do PTC courses as an individual rather than in a group like the St Faith’s group.
